Liz Gibbons

RYT200

Liz's yoga journey began as a way to gently reincorporate movement and recover from a painful car accident. As she healed, her practice began to nourish her mental and spiritual health, a transformation reaching far beyond the physical mobility she was regaining. Building upon this practice eventually led her to spend six weeks in Rishikesh, India to complete her 200 hour teacher training through 7 Chakras Yoga School. There, she adopted yoga as a wholistic lifestyle where meditation, philosophy and connection to Mother Nature became just as important as asana. Liz hopes to convey this all-encompassing definition of yoga in her classes, valuing stillness and breathwork just as much as movement. Her hope for each class is that students can get back to the basics and nurture a deeper connection to the self and by extension, everyone and everything else. Above all, she's both honored and humbled to create a space for students to slow down, to heal and to have fun.
